Used Mitsubishi Evo Parts

Acquiring the spare parts you need can be a significant part of the expense involved in running any vehicle. When the car in question is a high performance or competition model, the price of those parts will be substantially more than the equivalent parts for a base model. And when the model of car you own is no longer produced by the manufacturer, the availability of parts becomes limited and costs can shoot straight through the roof.
When that model is one of the most successful and desirable competition cars of the last thirty years, spare parts will always come at a premium and demand is only likely to increase. That’s why at Arnside Motorsport we have amassed a substantial inventory of used Mitsubishi Evo parts, and continue to source further used parts for all models and specs throughout the world.
The Mitsubishi Lancer Evo has become a byword for speed and robust performance, but it wasn’t always that way. The original Mitsubishi Lancer was released in the early 1970s as a small, sensible, family saloon amid a generation of economical and reliable Japanese cars which put car ownership within the reach of many families throughout Asia and Europe who would previously have been unable to afford it. Many a family’s motoring adventures began with a used Mitsubishi. Few buyers of these early Lancers would have had any motorsports ambitions. For them, securing enough used parts to keep their pride and joy running for the weekly shopping trip and to drop the kids off at school was the limit of their motoring aspirations.
But then in the early 90s, Mitsubishi wanted to improve their brand image by participating in motorsports and concluded that their current Lance would make an effective platform for a rally car. Engineers used their design experience to create parts which would ‘evolve’ the simple saloon into a high performance, all-wheel-drive sports machine which would be equally at home on the tarmac race tracks or dirt and gravel rally stages of the world. This gradual process of improvement led to the new model being designated the ‘Evo’.
Throughout the next decade, the Mitsubishi Evo distinguished itself on the world rally circuit as one of the fastest, most manoeuvrable and most reliable competition cars of its day. The development of the concept culminated in four back-to-back driver’s championships and a constructor’s championship in the World Rally Championship series. The Evo used many special parts Mitsubishi had manufactured specifically for the project, but the car’s success in competition reflected well on the brand as a whole. Today, the various versions of the Mitsubishi Evo boast a cult following and used parts command high prices among racers and enthusiasts.
As a company specialising in maintaining and tuning the Mitsubishi Evo, used parts are high on our list of priorities. If we can save our customers money on used transmissions, engines, brakes or suspension, or find Mitsubishi Evo parts which are unavailable elsewhere, we consider it a job well done.
